Navratri...the final three days

On the last three days of Navratri, we adore the Mother Goddess in her form of Saraswati.

In Hinduism, Saraswati represents intelligence, consciousness, cosmic knowledge, creativity, education, enlightenment, music, the arts, eloquence and power.

Hindus worship her not only for academic, but also her "divine" knowledge, thought essential to achieve spiritual bliss.

So where does one start on the journey of knowledge?  Like all journeys, it begins with a single step...

...read, write, dance, sing....

"May Goddess Saraswati,
who is fair like the jasmine-colored moon,
and whose pure white garland is like frosty dew drops;
who is adorned in radiant white attire,
on whose beautiful arm rests the veena,
and whose throne is a white lotus;
who is surrounded and respected by the Gods, protect me.
May you fully remove my lethargy, sluggishness, and ignorance."
